Seoyeon LEE

I am a prospective Ph.D. student in Educational Technology, holding a B.A. in Korean Language Education and an M.A. in Educational Psychology. This interdisciplinary background has provided a foundation for understanding the social emotional dimensions of learning alongside cognitive processes, and for approaching learners’ experiences from both classroom-based and psychological perspectives.

Through my work at KEDI and TeamSparta, where I designed and managed online learning experiences for diverse learners, I have developed a strong interest in technology-enhanced learning. These practice-based experiences, combined with my theoretical training, have shaped my ability to analyze how learners engage, regulate, and collaborate in digital environments.

I aim to investigate the social emotional dynamics of online learning interactions—particularly in CSCL environments—and to design AI-informed instructional supports for diverse learners. Ultimately, I hope to integrate psychological insights, instructional design, and real-world digital learning practice to support meaningful learning experiences in online settings.
